RSV Vaccination
What is RSV?
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a common virus that infects the lungs and airways. It often causes mild cold-like symptoms such as a runny nose, cough, fever, and sore throat. However, RSV can sometimes lead to more serious respiratory illnesses, including bronchiolitis and pneumonia, particularly in young infants, older adults, and people with underlying health conditions. RSV spreads easily through coughs, sneezes, and contact with contaminated surfaces.
You can read more about RSV on the NHS website.
